historical work from a local resident of Milton and author of
three books.

About the Library

The Milton Public Library has been serving the community since 1923.
In 1932, the Milton National Bank building was purchased for $20,000
and is the current location for the library.
The bank vault remains part of the architecture that
fascinates both children and adults. The building is handicapped
accessible. Free parking is available in the large municipal lot in
the rear.

The mission of the Milton Public Library is to be a vital resource
to the community by providing practical access to materials in
varied formats, as well as, services and programs of popular
interest with an emphasis on encouraging children to develop an
ongoing interest and enjoyment of reading and learning and
furnishing timely, accurate information for personal, recreational,
educational, and professional needs.
